“Pitching & Preaching” at WNCC

WNCC July 2018 Report EVANGELISM The Nigeria Chariot Evangelist, Samuel Ndukwe Iheke, WNCC’s Diploma and Advance Diploma graduate reports: Ikeja Corporative Evangelism started on July 07 and ended on July 25, 2018. The Gospel Chariot was hosted by the congregations located in the following places: Ifako Ijaye, Iyana Ipaja, Aparadija (Ogun State), Ojodu, Onilekere and finally at Shasha. Our greatest challenge was space to pitch and preach as a result of the cosmopolitan nature of Lagos to the glory of God. At last, four souls were added into the Body of Christ. COMMUNITY SERVICE We are grateful to God almighty as both students and staff of the college come together to carry out community service through farming. We all went out to the farm together as we uproot and pill the cassava planted by students and staff, for processing to make cassava flakes. It was processed and finally made as cassava flakes (also known as Garri). We thank everyone for this act and for embracing this kind of culture. To God be the glory FARMING We are grateful to God as our farm continue to yield more growth. The corns are growing and through community service, we made effort to carry out weeding on the farm, through the application of anti-weed chemicals. To God be the glory VOCATIONAL TRAINING The vocational training came to an end last week as at 27th […]

June 2018 WNCC Evangelism Report

The West Nigeria Christian College in Abeokuta is doing well, to the Glory of God. We continue to press forward with training for all of Western Nigeria, and beyond. Due to our recent evangelism efforts, we had a baptism. When you sow the seed, God gives the increase! BUILDING: We are eternally grateful to God for the successful roofing of the store house that was roofed two weeks ago, ahead of the affiliation program. We give God the glory and we believe God who began this project with us will surely bring it to a successful completion. Kudos to our President and The ACSF BOARD — as well as to God! VOCATIONAL PROGRAM ON CAMPUS: As part of tent-making insight like Bro Paul in the scripture, we give praise to God and for the initiative of having a vocational semi-institute on our campus. So far, four students enrolled for the computer engineering and networking program and three registered for desktop publishing program on campus. So far the students are doing great and instruction is ongoing as the instructors are also giving their best shot for the program.  To God be the glory. FARMING We are grateful to God for the rain so far on our soil as seeds are been planted, such as corn, cassava etal. The tractor has finally plough the land and crops were planted.   We pray for bountiful […]

May 2018 WNCC Update

REPORT ON ALUMNI AND GRADUATES OF THE COLLEGE We are eternally grateful to God for having a great citadel of learning like West Nigeria Christian College and School of Biblical Studies. We thank God and thank all sponsors for playing a vital role and for being instrumental to the spiritual academic growth of these young ones throughout the duration of their learning.  Statistics show that most of the graduates of the College from inception have been doing well and we are proud of them. Some are in the field preaching as pulpit ministers, evangelists and church leaders while some are in secular organization serving in one capacity or the other like in the banking industry, lecturer with Lagos State University, Medical Doctor and Nurses at both federal and state health institutions, Barristers, Chartered Accountants, just to mention but a few. Some are retained as instructors with the college, such as Bola Fayemi, captured with the national service uniform. She studied Mathematics/Statistics at Osun State College of Technology. We believe and pray to God for them to continue to shine as light in the midst of darkness and salt in the world of bitterness. FARMING The college is warming up to get to planting by putting its land into use. The school invited the tractor to plow about three acres of our land in other to prepare the ground for planting.
