Baptisms at Recent Student-led Campaign

On Friday November 2nd 2018, forty-three NCBC students left the campus for evangelism to Oniong Iman, Etinan under the leadership of Sunday Nelson, a final year student. He went and borrowed a bus from the Nigerian Christian Institute Uyo and NCBC paid for the cost of the fuel. They worked with a young congregation of 16 members: 7 men, 6 sisters and three children. On Saturday morning November 3, at 5am, they conducted morning devotion. Starting at 9am,  they preached from house to house and later they conducted open air lectures. On Sunday morning, they officiated in the worship service and had two baptisms. The young church there at Oniong Iman Etinan fed 43 N. C. B. C. students for three days and send them back to college happily after church service. The same Sunday Nelson spoke in an evening program at church of Christ Efiat Offot, Uyo on November 4, 2018 and there were three baptisms. Thanks and God bless. Uyai Sunday Joshua

High Enrollment/New Opportunities at NCBC

Highest Enrollment in Years at NCBC With the returning students at Nigerian Christian Bible College, combined with the incoming new students, we will have the highest enrollment in years at Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC). There are 33 new students starting in August. Combined with the returning students, there is a new total of 127 students at NCBC. To God be the Glory! New Biblical Languages classes being offered at NCBC At NCBC, we realize the importance of understanding basic Bible languages as an effective tool in church growth and development. And as divisive doctrines tend to raise their ugly heads to destroy our collective efforts in evangelism across the country, the college has recently introduced the teaching of Hebrew and Greek languages as a way of building the skills of the new preachers in Biblical interpretation. The teacher is Mr. Ndongesit Effeh.  There is also the hope of adding the French Language into the curriculum soon for preachers who may consider going to French speaking countries around Nigeria and West Africa. NCBC Vocational Efforts At NCBC, efforts are being intensified in the areas of vocational training and farming. Recently, the college began a poultry farm to raise broilers and layers. It is expected that the college will soon have its two hundred layers producing many eggs every day.  Additionally, land has been developed for the planting of plantain and […]

Lectureship at WNCC a Success!

The lectureship at the West Nigeria Christian College was a good success with over 1,500 participants from many areas of Western Nigeria.  The youth were not left out as there were classes for them, also. There were seperate classes for men and women. In fact, Sister Yemisi Eyo-Peters from the UK taught the ladies classes.  The young children were also not left out, but had plenty of classes for them near the Gospel Chariot! Each year at the WNCC lectureship, the school awards the Distinguished Christian Service Award. This year, that award was given to Christian Ojeh, an elder of the church of Christ, Okoh Road in Warri, Delta State.  We are very proud of our vocational program graduates during the lectureship time.  We are give glory to God for the baptism during the lectureship.
