WNCC December 2017 Report

SOUL WINNING OUTREACH                                                                                                              We are thankful to God for the successful outing during the Campaign for Christ that took place at mile six on the 7th of December 2017 (A mile away from the school). Students, staff, church members, visitor and church members converged at the scene to which film show was display to showcase what we intend to teach. The message centered on God’s Plan of Salvation. Lives were touched and this exercise afforded us opportunity to have a working relationship with neighboring congregation. About 82 participants were in attendance in all. We give glory to God for this exercise and having a fruitful outing. WNCC BUISNESS VENTURE                                                                                              The third batch of our smoked catfish is ready for sale.  Both students and staff worked together to ensure the preparation and smoking of the fish while some were sold fresh to various customers that often patronize the college. The exercise was a successful event. Also, the poultry farm is not left out as sales are in progress and patronage continue to increase to give room for sales of eggs lain by the birds. BAPTISM                                                                                                                                  Angels in heaven rejoice as a student on our campus got baptized during the holiday. His name is Adiku Emmanuel. We give praise to God for his life and we pray God to continue to uphold him in this spiritual race to eternity in Jesus name (Amen).   BUILDING […]

WNCC Spring 2017 Update

REPORT ON EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE ON WNCC CAMPUS FOR THE MONTH ENDED 30TH APRIL 2017. CANDLE NIGHT The candle night is an annual event on campus that precedes all other activities marking the end of journey that the graduating class embarked upon at the outset of their training in WNCC. The one for this year took place on 29th of March, 2017, in this school hall. Some of the activities that happened before the candles were lit, was the handing over of the baton of leadership to newly elected leaders. The outgoing leaders were commended for a job well done while their tenure lasted. Also, the newly elected leaders were prayed for and given a brief admonition that will help them carry out their duties effectively. Thereafter, the President of the college charged students to remember how they started and the good virtues that have been deposited in them in the course of the training. To draw the curtain for the night, the candles were lit and pictures were taken while singing “Send the Light” the closing prayer was given by Bro. Adeleke. PRACTICUM On the 31st of March 2017, the graduating class of 2016/2017 academic year were sent out in fulfillment of the college’s mandate to preach the gospel to lost souls. Twenty-nine students were sent out to congregations in Lagos, Ogun, Edo and Delta State. Reports received […]

Progress Continues

It has been an historic year for Nigerian Christian Bible College. We completed the purchase of the land in Ukpom and with the backing and support of our Nigeria brethren we have been able to start the reconstruction phase of the work at NCBC.  In recent months we have replaced and repaired water systems, repaired our central power generator, and now some of the most critical work is being done in restoring the administration building (a requirement to retain our accreditation with the Nigerian University Council). The future looks bright as we look at the addition of new vocational programs, provide added security on campus, and with the help of the local government we are hopeful to place a power transformer in the village that will benefit both the college and the community. With great progress there has also been a significant increase in our expenses. Repairs are costly, scholarship funds have decreased over the past several years, and the exchange rate which was in our favor for a long period of time is now shifting back to normal (which means we get fewer Nigerian dollars in exchange). We urgently need your help in raising funds to complete this project.  NCBC has been a beacon light not just across Nigeria, but across Africa for the past 62 years.  We are close to restoring her to her former estate and that […]
