On Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2008, Goodnews Peter and Uyai Joshua, NCBC faculty members, spent their last week of Christmas break at Ette, in Enugu State.

Congretation with Goodnews PeterThere are eight congregations in Ette, with only one trained preacher, so when members of the NCBC faculty or Alumni visit the area, there is always a renewed zeal and commitment by the people to study the Bible. As soon as the two arrived, the whole community was mobilized for effective Bible study and fellowship through house-to-house visits, group study and open-air services. This resulted in forty-four baptisms and eight restorations!
